After a nearly 10-year absence, KFC is bringing back a beloved Double Down.

As of March 6, the "KFC Double Down" will be available once more.

The instantly recognized invention employs two fried chicken filets as the bun in place of the standard sandwich's bread. Two pieces of cheese, bacon, and either mayo or spice sauce are sandwiched in between.

In order to make place for these new additions, KFC recently deleted a few menu staples, including wings, popcorn chicken, and cookies.

KFC is awarding a limited number of anxious Double Down superfans with bespoke merchandise to wear while they are eating the long-awaited Double Down in addition to the Double Down Drop.
